• FOR THE 25'" JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT -JUDGE WILLIAM D. OLD Ill, PRESIDING PURSUANT TO THE EMERGENCY ORDERS FROM THE SUPREME COURT OF TEXAS ISSUED AUGUST 30, 2022

    Pursuant to the Fifty-Fifth Emergency Order issued by the Supreme Court of Texas on August 30, 2022, the Judicial District Courts will resume in person only dockets effective immediately.

    CIVIL CASES: 
    If your case was set prior to September 1, 2022 for a ZOOM hearing, then it will remain a ZOOM hearing. All OTHER HEARINGS Will BE IN PERSON ONLY. 
    Please note: Under the new order, the Supreme Court will allow a ZOOM hearing to be held ONLY if an exigent circumstance exits and is presented to the court in writing and upon no objection from the opposing party. 

    CRIMINAL CASES: 
    If your case was set prior to September 1, 2022 for a ZOOM hearing then it will remain a ZOOM hearing, All OTHER HEARINGS WILL BE IN PERSON ONLY. Defendants MUST appear in person unless they are in custody. Custody cases will continue to be held via ZOOM.
