The bridge on LCR #229 over Big Rocky Creek will be closed beginning on December 2, 2019 for demolition. 

 

PUBLIC NOTICE

A local citizen is employed by the U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Department of Commerce as their representative to conduct survey work in Lavaca County.  The representative will have a photo identification card with them.  This work is mandated in counties every three years.

COYOTE BOUNTY

Lavaca County pays a $5.00 bounty on coyotes.  This is handled through the Lavaca County Sheriff's Department.  The ears of the animals must be connected together to qualify for the bounty.
